Dydd Sul

Gweddïo ac addoli yn ôl troed Dewi Sant

Gweddi agoriadol

O Dduw, cofiaf heddiw fywyd Dewi Sant, rhoddais y dydd heddiw i weddïo ac addoli, ar drothwy wythnos newydd o obeithion a breuddwydion a phosibiliadau.
Gelwaist y dydd hwn yn gysegredig a sanctaidd.
Llenwa fi, O Dduw gras gyda’th Ysbryd, fel y daw’r weddi a offrymaf o ddyfnder fy nghalon a’i chynnig gennyf i ti, mewn gonestrwydd, gwirionedd a chariad.
Gad i mi deimlo y dydd hwn dy bresenoldeb a‘th gyffrddiad arnaf.
Amen.

Dechrau o’r newydd gyda Duw

O Dduw, rwy’n clywed dy alwad i edifarhau.
Clyw yn awr y pethau hynny y ceisiaf faddeuant amdanynt…
Rwy’n credu ac yn ymddiried yn dy faddeuant cariadus.
Rwy’n gwybod pan fyddaf yn wir yn cyfaddef ac yn edifarhau, y bydd i ti dywallt bendithion dy ras maddeuol arnaf.
Amen.

‘Yn enw Duw, sydd i’w glodfori, mawr yw ei glod.
Duw a’n creodd, Duw a’n gwarchododd, Duw a’n hachubodd:’
Diolch fo i Dduw. Amen.

Salm a Darlleniad y Beibl
(Cofiwch saib y recordiad yma)

Ymbiliau
Gweddïwn dros anghenion ein heglwys, y byd a’r gymuned leol; dros bawb sy’n wael ac yn agos at angau; a chan gofio’r sawl fu farw a’r rhai sy’n eu caru ac yn galaru ar eu holau.

Heddiw, cofiwn yn arbennig yn ein gweddïau yr Eglwys ym mhob cwr o’r byd, gan gynnwys eglwysi a phobl yr esgobaeth hon a’r Ardal Weinidogaeth leol.

Terfynir yr ymbiliau gyda Gweddi’r Arglwydd, ac yna
Gweddi Llwybr Deiniol:

Dduw gras, gelwaist arnaf i ddilyn yn ôl traed y disgyblion cynnar a’r seintiau,
i fyw bywyd mewn gwir gydbwysedd daioni, i weddïo bob dydd a rhannu yn fy ffordd fy hun
dy gariad di dros yr holl bobl, yr holl greadigaeth.
Trwy dy gariad a’th ras, a thrwy esiampl Deiniol Sant,
helpa i fod yn ffyddlon mewn gweddi, yn fy ngwaith, acbwrthbor̫wyso, yn yr oriau prysur a’r mannau tawel,
fel y gallaf dy addoli, fel y bydd i’th Eglwys dyfu, ac fel y bydd i’th gariad gofleidio ac iachau ein byd toredig.
Amen.

Gweddi Gloi

Llawenhewch yn yr Arglwydd bob amser; fe ddywedfa eto, llawenhewch. Bydded eich hynawsedd yn hysbys i bob dyn. Y mae’r Arglwydd yn agos. Peidiwch a phryderu am ddim, ond ym mhob peth gwneler eich deisyfiadau yn hysbys i Dduw. A bydd tangnefedd Duw, sydd goruwch pob deall, yn gwarchod dros eich calonnau a’ch meddyliau yng Nghrist Iesu.
Philipiaid 4: 4-7

Dduw Gras, tania f’ysbryd yn yr addoliad a gynigiaf,
llenwa fy nghalon a’m meddwl gyda’r tangnefedd sydd uwchlaw pob deall,
a gwarchod y dydd hwn a hyd byth.
Yn enw Iesu, gweddiaf.
Amen.

Sunday

Praying and worshipping in the footsteps of St. David

Opening prayer

O God, remembering today the life of St David, you have given this day for prayer and worship, opening up a new week for hopes and dreams and possibilities.
You have called this day hallowed and holy.
Fill me, O God of grace with your Spirit, so that the prayer I offer comes from the depths of my heart and offered from me to you, in honesty, truth and love.
May I feel this day your presence and your touch upon me.
Amen.

Beginning anew with God

O God, I hear your call to repent.
Hear now those things for which I seek forgiveness…
I believe and trust in your loving forgiveness.
I know that when I truly confess and repent, you will pour the blessing of your forgiving grace upon me.
Amen.

‘In the name of God, who should be praised, whose praise is great.
God created us, God defended us, God has rescued us:’
Thanks be to God. Amen

Prayers of intercession
Bring before God the needs within our church, the world and the local community; pray for those who are ill and those close to death; remember those who have died and those who loved and mourn them.

Today in particular, hold in prayer the Church worldwide, as well as the churches and people of this diocese and your Ministry Area.

Conclude the prayers of intercession with the Lord’s Prayer, followed by the
St Deiniol’s Way prayer:

God of grace, you have called me to follow in the steps of the early disciples and saints,
to live a life in true balance of wellbeing, to pray each day and share in my own way your love for all people, all creation.
By your love and grace, and through the example of St Deiniol,
help me to be faithful in my prayer, in my work, and in my times of rest, in the busy hours and in the quiet spaces,
so that I may worship you, so that your Church may grow, and so that your love may embrace and heal our broken world.
Amen.

Closing Prayer

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4: 4-7

God of Grace, set my spirit on fire in the worship I offer,
fill my heart and mind with the peace that passes all understanding,
and be my guard this day and always.
In Jesus name I pray.
Amen.
