You can follow the prayers in English or in Welsh. The videos on the left of your screen contain the spoken parts with responses.

You will need a Bible and, to follow the same readings as us, a lectionary. Remember to pause the recording for the readings and psalm.
The Church in Wales lectionary is available here. (Scroll down the page until you come to the Sunday that starts the current week it will look similar to the image here – this is for the week beginning Sunday 19th April:

Dydd Llun

Gweithio a dysgu yn ôl troed Deiniol Sant

Gweddi agoriadol

O Dduw, fe gofiaf heddiw fywyd Deiniol Sant.
Agor fy meddwl i ddysgu pethau newydd heddiw.
Agor fy llygaid i weld rhyfeddod y greadigaeth.
Agor fy nghlustiau i wrando ar leisiau eraill.
Agor fy nwylo i dderbyn gan y sawl o’n cwmpas.
Agor fy nghalon i garu fy ngwaith yn gyfan a phopeth a ddysgaf heddiw.
Agor fy ngenau i lefaru geiriau gwirionedd a doethineb.
Gosod fy nhraed i ddilyn dy lwybr di â’m holl fywyd i fyw yn dy ras;
gyda’th gymorth di, Drindod Nefol a Sanctaidd.
Amen.

Y dydd hwn, rwyf yn byw yng ngras Duw

Mewn distawrwydd a gweddi, myfyriwch a dygywch at Duw:

  • bopeth sy’n hysbys, a gynlluniwyd ac a drefnwyd ar gyfer y dydd heddiw.
  • eich angen am help i baratoi am yr annisgwyl
  • eich angen am ddoethinneb i fyfyrio ynghylch popeth a ddigwyddodd eisoes, a phopeth sydd eto i ddod.
  • eich ymrwymiad i weithio a dysgu fel rhan o ddilyn Llwybr Deiniol.

Gofynnwch am i ras Duw fod gyda chi bob amser ac ym mhob lle.

Dechrau o’r newydd gyda Duw

O Dduw, rwy’n clywed dy alwad i edifarhau.
Clyw yn awr y pethau hynny y ceisiaf faddeuant amdanynt…
Rwy’n credu ac yn ymddiried yn dy faddeuant cariadus.
Rwy’n gwybod pan fyddaf yn wir yn cyfaddef ac yn edifarhau, y bydd i ti dywallt bendithion dy ras maddeuol arnaf
Amen.

‘Hyn a erfyniaf, yn ddiymwad, tangnefedd rhyngof a Duw’:
Diolch fo i Dduw. Amen.

Salm a Darlleniad y Beibl
(Cofiwch saib y recordiad yma)

Ymbiliau
Gweddïwn dros anghenion ein heglwys, y byd a’r gymuned leol; dros bawb sy’n wael ac yn agos at angau; a chan gofio’r sawl fu farw a’r rhai sy’n eu caru ac yn galaru ar eu holau.

Heddiw, cofiwn yn arbennig yn ein gweddïau yr Eglwys ym mhob cwr o’r byd, gan gynnwys eglwysi a phobl yr esgobaeth hon a’r Ardal Weinidogaeth leol.

Terfynir yr ymbiliau gyda Gweddi’r Arglwydd, ac yna
Gweddi Llwybr Deiniol:

Dduw gras, gelwaist arnaf i ddilyn yn ôl traed y disgyblion cynnar a’r seintiau,
i fyw bywyd mewn gwir gydbwysedd daioni, i weddïo bob dydd a rhannu yn fy ffordd fy hun
dy gariad di dros yr holl bobl, yr holl greadigaeth.
Trwy dy gariad a’th ras, a thrwy esiampl Deiniol Sant,
helpa i fod yn ffyddlon mewn gweddi, yn fy ngwaith, acbwrthbor̫wyso, yn yr oriau prysur a’r mannau tawel,
fel y gallaf dy addoli, fel y bydd i’th Eglwys dyfu, ac fel y bydd i’th gariad gofleidio ac iachau ein byd toredig.
Amen.

Gweddi gloi

Ond ddrwyth yr Ysbryd yw cariad, llawenydd, tangnefedd, goddefgarwch, caredigrwydd, daioni, ffyddlondeb, addfwynder, hunanddisgybliaeth. Os yw ein bywyd yn yr Ysbryd, ynddo hefyd bydded ein buchedd.
Galatiad 5:22, 25

Dduw Gras,
Boed i bopeth a wnaf heddiw adlewyrchu dy gariad a’th haelioni.
Tyn fi’n agos pan fyddaf yn baglu ac yn methu,
deffro fi i bopeth sy’n bosib ac yn newydd,
a thywys fi’n wastadol gyda’r Ddoethineb Nefol.
Gweddiaf yn enw Iesu.
Amen.

Working and learning in St. Deiniol’s footsteps

Opening prayer

O God, I remember today the life of St Deiniol.
Open my mind to learn new things today.
Open my eyes to see the wonder of creation.
Open my ears to hear the voices of others.
Open my hands to receive from those around me.
Open my heart to love all that, work at
and all that I will learn today.
Open my mouth to speak words of truth and wisdom.
Set my feet to trace your pathway and my whole self to live in your grace
with your help, Divine and Holy Trinity.
Amen.

This day I live in the grace of God

In quietness and prayer bring to God:

  • all that is known, planned and arranged for this day.
  • your need for help to be prepared
    for the unexpected
  • your need for wisdom to reflect upon all that has already taken place, and all that still lies ahead
  • your commitment to working and learning as part of following St Deiniol’s Way.

Ask for the grace of God to be with you at all times and in places.

Beginning anew with God

O God, I hear your call to repent.
Hear now those things for which I seek forgiveness…
I believe and trust in your loving forgiveness.
I know that when I truly confess and repent, you will pour the blessing of your forgiving grace upon me.
Amen.

‘The gift I ask, may it not be denied me, is peace between myself and God’:
Thanks be to God. Amen

Psalm and Bible Reading
(Remember to pause the recording here)

Prayers of intercession
Bring before God the needs within our church, the world and the local community; pray for those who are ill and those close to death; remember those who have died and those who loved and mourn them.

Today in particular, hold in prayer the Church worldwide, as well as the churches and people of this diocese and your Ministry Area.

Conclude the prayers of intercession with the Lord’s Prayer, followed by the
St Deiniol’s Way prayer:

God of grace, you have called me to follow in the steps of the early disciples and saints,
to live a life in true balance of wellbeing, to pray each day and share in my own way your love for all people, all creation.
By your love and grace, and through the example of St Deiniol,
help me to be faithful in my prayer, in my work, and in my times of rest, in the busy hours and in the quiet spaces,
so that I may worship you, so that your Church may grow, and so that your love may embrace and heal our broken world.
Amen.

Closing Prayer

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and selfcontrol. If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22, 25

God of Grace,
May all I do this day reflect your love and generosity.
Draw me close when I stumble and struggle; awaken me to all that is possible and new,
and guide me always with your Holy Wisdom.
In Jesus name I pray.
Amen.
