Dydd Sul 22ain Mis Hydref

Sunday 22nd October

God of mercy,
we lay before you
the hearts, minds and bodies
of all those suffering from violence
in the occupied Palestinian territory
and Israel.
Shower upon all the people
of this holy land
the spirit of justice and reconciliation.

In you, Lord, all life is connected
and all the Earth and its land are
to be cherished, not controlled.
Your gifts are for all.
Yet as we see the violence and hatred
in the land called Holy,
and see the signs of climate breakdown,
help us all to work to live in communion.

As people of many religions remind us:
All humanity is connected, no one
is really free until all are free.
Help us to pray for all in Israel and
all in the Palestinian territories.
We pray for those who live in fear of the other;
For all who consider violence to be the way forward.
We pray for all who by acting
in hate dehumanise themselves.

Lord have mercy,
Christ have mercy,
Lord have mercy.

Gwahoddir pawb i ddod ynghyd ar Ddydd Llun 30 Hydref 10am- 12pm yn St. Tudclud’s, Penmachno. Hwn fydd y cyntaf o’n Cyfarfodydd Cabidwl newydd sydd i bawb yn ein Ardal Weinidogaeth i weddïo gyda’i gilydd. Bydd ein hamser gyda’n gilydd yn dechrau gyda addoliad tyner wrth i ni weddïo am y dyfodol. Byddwn yn meddwl yn arbennig am ein hymateb i’r gwrthdaro parhaus o amgylch y byd, yn enwedig yn Israel / Palestina. Mae angen gweddïo hefyd ar ein sefyllfa ariannol ym Mro Gwydyr.

All are invited to come together On Monday 30th October 10am – 12pm in St. Tudclud’s, Penmachno. This will be the first of our new Chapter Meetings which are for everyone in our Ministry Area to pray together. Our time together will begin with some gentle worship as we pray for the future. We will be thinking in particular of our response to the continuing conflicts around the world, not least in Israel / Palestine. We also need to put to prayer our financial situation in Bro Gwydyr.

We believe in inclusive Church – a church which celebrates and affirms every person and does not discriminate. We will continue to challenge the church where it continues to discriminate against people on grounds of disability, economic power, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, learning disability, mental health, neurodiversity, or sexuality. We believe in a Church which welcomes and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; which is scripturally faithful; which seeks to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation; and which, in the power of the Holy Spirit, allows all people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ.”
