Dydd Sul 3 Mis Mawrth – Sunday 3rd March

Our Lenten Lunch and discussions continue today at 12.30 ending with a Eucharist at 2pm

Bydd ein Cinio Grawys parhau heddiw am 12.30 a diwedd â Cymun am 2yh

Croeso Cynnes i bawb – All Welcome

Gobeithio ein Llythyr Grawys wedi cyrhaedd yr wythnos hon yn cynnwys manylion ein Hwythnosau Sanctaidd eleni, ie, pythefnos – dechrau ar Sul y Dioddefaint (17eg Mawrth). Â hefyd manylion ein Offrwm y Pasg.

Roedd Offrwm traddodiadol y Pasg ar gyfer Offeiriad y Plwyf. Fy mwriad erioed yw i hyn fynd at achos elusennol – Yn ystod y blynyddoedd diwethaf mae’r offrymau hyn wedi mynd i gynnal ein heglwysi. Fodd bynnag, eleni hoffwn awgrymu ein bod yn dychwelyd at yr arfer o roi hwn i ffwrdd – mae’r Pasg yn ydi amser mor briodol i’w roi. Bydd rhai ohonoch yn gwybod am waith Jeremy McWilliam a’r ‘Island Reach’ angori yng Nghonwy. Bydd y cwch hwn yn gadael yn fuan ar gyfer ei waith yn cynnig cymorth meddygol ym Madagascar. Mae angen ychydig o bethau ar y llong cyn iddi hwylio – Byddai’n wych pe bai Bro Gwydyr yn gallu codi £1,500 ar gyfer bwrdd llawdriniaeth.

Gallwch wneud eich Offrwm Pasg yn y ffordd arferol ar Sul y Pasg yn yr Eglwys gydag arian parod neu drwy ddefnyddio ein  peiriannau rhoi Electronig. Gallwch hefyd wneud hyn yn ddiogel trwy ‘Give a Little’ ar lein.

Diolch yn fawr am eich help!

Hopefully Our Lent Letter has arrived with you in the post this week which will include details of our Holy Weeks this year, yes, two weeks – beginning on Passion Sunday (17th March). Also details of our Easter Offering

The traditional Easter Offering was for the Priest of the Parish. It has always been my intention that this should go to a charitable cause – During the past few years these offerings have gone to support our churches. However, this year I would like to suggest we return to the practice of giving this away – Easter seems such an appropriate time to be giving.

Some of you will know of the work of Jeremy McWilliam on the Ship ‘Island Reach’ moored at Conwy.  This boat is soon to depart for its work offering medical aid in Madagascar.  The ship is in need of a few things before it sails – It would be wonderful if Bro Gwydyr would be able to raise £1,500 for an operating table.

You can make your Easter Offering in the usual way on Easter Sunday in Church in cash or using our Electronic giving  machines.  You can also do this securely through ‘Give a little’ online.

Thanks so much for your help!

We believe in inclusive Church – a church which celebrates and affirms every person and does not discriminate. We will continue to challenge the church where it continues to discriminate against people on grounds of disability, economic power, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, learning disability, mental health, neurodiversity, or sexuality. We believe in a Church which welcomes and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; which is scripturally faithful; which seeks to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation; and which, in the power of the Holy Spirit, allows all people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ.”
