Our community

Lord, Thank you for walking with us through this difficult time. Be with those who feel isolated, help them to feel your love and comforting hand.
Help us to care for each other and maintain contact until we are able to meet again.

Covid-19 update for our churches

Ardal Weinidogaeth Bro Gwydyr Ministry Area

We are delighted that unlocking is beginning to happen and we look forward to getting back to public worship when this is possible.

We do not plan to open our churches immediately – many of our key volunteers are over 70 or shielding. There is much to organise to ensure that our buildings are safe spaces to enable us to welcome all who come.

We are not allowed at this stage to leave the buildings open unstaffed.

Our major efforts will continue to be supporting prayer at home. You can join in with this and keep up to date with Ministry Area activities at: https://www.facebook.com/brogwydyr or at www.brogwydyr.cymru

To contact the clergy to ask for prayer, or for any other church matters please ring 01690 750458.

Revd. Simon Freeman, Curate

Ardal Weinidogaeth Bro Gwydyr Ministry Area

Rydym yn falch iawn bod datgloi yn dechrau digwydd ac edrychwn ymlaen at fynd yn ôl i addoliad cyhoeddus pan fydd hyn yn bosibl.

Nid ydym yn bwriadu agor ein heglwysi ar unwaith – mae llawer o’n gwirfoddolwyr allweddol dros 70 oed neu’n cysgodi. Mae llawer i’w drefnu i sicrhau bod ein hadeiladau’n fannau diogel i’n galluogi i groesawu pawb sy’n dod.

Ni chaniateir i ni ar hyn o bryd adael yr adeiladau ar agor heb staff.

Bydd ein hymdrechion mawr yn parhau i gefnogi gweddi gartref. Gallwch ymuno â hyn a chael y wybodaeth ddiweddaraf am weithgareddau Ardal y Weinidogaeth yn: https://www.facebook.com/brogwydyr neu yn www.brogwydyr.cymru

I gysylltu â’r clerigwyr i ofyn am weddi neu am unrhyw faterion eglwysig eraill, ffoniwch 01690 750458.

Parch. Simon Freeman, Curad

Revival

That every barrier to revival in our land of Wales be broken. That the ancient gates be opened wide that the King of glory might enter in. Betws y Coed, Gateway to the north and Abergavenny, Gateway to the south, open up ancient gates, open up ancient doors that the King of glory may come in, in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen

Sabbatical

Dear God please be with Stuart during his Sabbatical and let his journey be of benefit to his life. We will support him through prayer and look forward to his return and learning about his time away. The website services, especially the morning and evening pray will help us feel in touch with him daily.
Thank you for sending Simon to us so that Stuart is able to leave the Bro knowing that we will be nurtured and cared for in his absence. Please support Simon to continue to help us to be your church in these unusual times . Thank you . Amen

New Life

With each new day, we all will pray with hope, to see the new life which surrounds us. The bee gently settles on the bright flowers of a small patch of violas. New growth on trees as leaves unfurl and turn to face the early morning light. A great feeling of peace and calm awaits as this new day dawns, let us all be thankful. Amen

A Prayer for Easter

May each of us find the Peace & Love of our Risen Lord this Easter. It will seem strange to us all, but we pray together as one family that this adversity can and will be overcome and that we can meet & pray together in God’s House to give thanks for all his love.

Prayers for the departed

Lord, soothe the souls of those who have lost loved ones in this wretched time. Hold us close to your heart. In his name we pray, Amen

Grateful

Grateful thanks for support and love shown by members of our Bro.

RIP Richard

May he rest in peace – and rise in glory.
